A band whose name means "The Sapphires". In 1965 it played for dancing in the basement club of building no. 13 and at special events in the playground garden on the Centrum A estate. Patron: the Culture Department of the Nowa Huta District Council (DRN). The band's sapphire-blue stage shirts came from the name - or perhaps it was the other way round.
