This website would never have come into being, and the lives of many musicians who passed through the successive line-ups of Ryszardy would have taken a completely different course had it not been for the musical talent of Jurek Mondrzyk of Vienna, who started the whole musical story that followed. Nor would there ever have been these recordings from the repertoire of The Shadows, which in the 1960s was also played by Ryszardy, had it not been for Ryszard Wilk of Ontario (  Pięciu z Nad Wisły  ), who made it possible and persuaded me - the band's lead guitarist - to pick up the guitar again, and kept urging me to make these recordings. That is why I offer my heartfelt thanks here to these two people, my Friends!

    Not everyone could come, but the long-standing line-up did, as in the photo - Jerzy Mondrzyk, Jerzy Szwejkowski, Ryszard Szczudłowski, Konrad Ratyński . To mark the reunion, in response to requests from internet users, and thanks to Bruce Welch - (The Shadows), who spared a moment for a band that no longer exists, during Shadowmania 2006 in Toronto, and above all thanks to Ryszard Wilk of the Toronto Shadows Club, who with "wolf-like" cunning ("wilk" means "wolf") pursued a plan known only to himself - these recordings were made.
     On this occasion I would also like to thank Romek Kapelan very much for his help with the sound editing. The recordings are meant to "bring the site to life", as the band's archive recordings are lost in the dust of galloping history, and also to recall the music played in clubs and at dance evenings, and often heard on the radio. Today this music is buried in connoisseurs' archives and completely forgotten by the present generation.
