1971-1974
      The earlier band Jupitery played mostly dance music. Some of its members developed different musical interests. They were Zbigniew Szczepanowski, Ryszard Binias, who formed a band that played at the ZDK house of culture on the Górali estate (home of the Song and Dance Ensemble) and at the Viola club on the Młodości estate - as PRETEKST "The Pretext". At the Wersalik club on the Ogrodowe estate in Nowa Huta there was a modern dance group run by Mieczysław Telesz and Andrzej Zieliński (no connection with Skaldowie), which kept in touch with a district of towns in the former East Germany (Berlin, Neuruppin, Potsdam, Reisenberg) and hired Pretekst to provide the music for the dancers. For the trip and the tour of that East German district, Pretekst changed its name to Sextans - the same as the dance group. The dancers were Beata Towarnicka, Grażyna Szarak....
