The recordings below were made in 2015 and, as a compilation, carry the working title "Bezimienni - składanka 2015 r." It should be added that when the recordings were made, our friends,
the musicians, were already 70 YEARS old.
In the individual tracks the following play and sing:
Kazek Koźma - lead guitar (the '60s - the band Bezimienni)
Leszek Wojnicz - rhythm guitar
(the '60s / '70s Bezimienni, MiniKrak), also the lead singer; there is a third musician too, who plays keyboards,
but in the dust of history his name has slipped away.
Our musical friends Kazek and Leszek met at the beginning of the '60s and remained friends to the end of their lives.
Now and then they would get together to play for pleasure and reminisce about their young days. In Leszek's house they set aside some cellar rooms where they kept their instruments and musical equipment, and a small recording studio came into being there.
The recordings are a one-off attempt to recreate the music of those years. Completely amateur recordings, raw and not processed in a studio.
They were not meant to be perfect, they were simply meant to exist. That matters, because this recording has many imperfections, but on the other hand that is precisely its charm. It is a remarkable retrospective keepsake left by two friends from those years.
Today both live on only in our memory..
For posterity and for those still living it is a priceless keepsake, for friends a sentimental journey to the old musical times.
As it happens, in that same year 2015 the recordings made their way across the ocean to Chicago, where they were very popular among the Polish community there,
especially at wedding receptions and other special occasions.
