The band, whose name means "The White-and-Blacks", was formed at the beginning of 1963. Its repertoire included covers of guitar bands fashionable at the time,
such as The Ventures, The Shadows. It performed mainly in the club room of the Bronowianka club in Bronowice.
This formation - after later changes of personnel - was the seed of a band
that lasted much longer - Wiktorianie ("The Victorians").
1964 brought changes in Biało Czarni and the adoption of the name Wiktorianie.
During the band's existence many musicians and singers
passed through it. "Bomba" was replaced by Jerzy Drozdowski, and he in turn by Roman Sznyterman.
For some time the harmonica was played by Jacek Szlachta. The singers were Ryszard Chromiński and Stanisław Orzeł.
There were also girl singers: Ela and Jasia..
The repertoire was widened with further hits. For various reasons the turnover of members was high,
but its core - the three guitarists - remained unchanged from the start.
After some time the district board of the ZMS (Union of Socialist Youth) took the band under its patronage. The range of events widened for the band,
which now played at all kinds of ZMS events in Kraków secondary schools and clubs.
There were also trips to play at camps in Krościenko and Tęgoborze.
Concerts were also given as part of "Sunday at Zarabie".. and performances took place in Decjusz Park and at Słońce.
Besides performances at its home club Bronowianka there were also shows at the Szopa club on Rakowicka Street, in the common room of the military hospital
on Odrowąża Street, at Krzysztofory in Kraków and in many other places in the city.
In 1967 Wiktorianie ended their activity.
